Dark Circles

Dark circles is one of the most common problems that people are suffering from, it is basically classified as a dermatologic problem.  So what is a dermatologic problem?  Any problem that has to do with the skin is known as a dermatologic problem.  Though dark circles are a skin problem, it has got deeper under lying issues. 

Dark circles are indicative of health problems or lack of sleep or anxiety or depression.  With dark circles under your eyes, you look tired and worn out.  You age faster with that kind of look around your eyes.  People guess that your age be something six years older than you really are with dark circles around your eyes.

Most studies have shown that dark circles are non-hormonal related disorder.  One cannot say that dark circles and acne are related.  Acne is pure hormonal related disorder.  So does partying and staying up all night long cause you this problem of dark circles?  The answer can be yes and no.  You could see that among your friends circle too that they are partying up with you all night long and eat the same foods that you take, but still they don’t suffer from dark circles whereas you do.  The reasons can be a many, but let’s first try to get rid of the dark circles

There are a number of ways to get rid of the dark circles. The most common among them is an application of some dark circle remover cream.   You can pick up any dark circle remover cream from your local chemist.  But take our advice, first consult your doctor, he will recommend a cream that will be good for your skin based on your skin tone and complexion. 

There are a number of home remedies also for treating dark circles under the eyes.  A few of them are covered here for information only.  You could soak two cotton pads in plain cucumber juice and place them over your eye lids.  Relax for a few minutes and repeat the procedure after two hours.  Do this once every day and you are likely to see improvements in your eyes.

You could do this with two slices of cucumber too.  Another remedy is use tomato as a substitute for cucumber.  With these slices placed on your eye lids relax for at least half and hour. Remove them after that and rinse your eyes with warm water.

Almonds and mint leaves are good for the eyes too.  You could make a paste of almonds or a paste of mint leaves and use any one of this to apply as a patch around the eyes.  They give very good results within duration of two weeks.  Make it a habit to use this paste regularly after removing the initial black circles.  You should use it al least once a week for preventing further black circles coming around your eyes.

Summary:
There are other surgical procedures that are used now-a-days for removing dark circles.  The most popular among them is laser treatment.  This can be done and the results are almost immediate for removal of dark circles.
