Blepharoplasty (Eyelid) Surgery Lift

Blepharoplasty or eye surgery is the process of removing fat from the lower and upper eyelids, often along with the removal of excess muscle and skin tissues. Eyelid lift surgery helps in doing away with those features that may cause one to look older and often more tired as well. Cosmetic eyelift (i.e. Blepharoplasty), however, is not useful for the purpose of removing or reducing dark circles, crow’s feet, etc. Also it is necessary to understand that like many other process of plastic surgery, eyelid lift (Blepharoplasty) too varies greatly from patient to patient, depending on the patient himself as well the surgeon. Conditions such as thyroid, blood pressure problems, dry eyes, etc, may cause a difficulty in performing a Blepharoplasty.

However, when going for a process such as facelift or eyelid surgery, or Blepharoplasty lid lift and truck, or cosmetic surgery nose surgery, eyelid lift wrinkle lift, etc, it is necessary to consult the surgeon properly, letting him know all about the details of your skin. The surgical procedures vary from individual to individual, and what may be perfectly suitable for one might not be suitable for the other. Therefore, like in case of all other methods of plastic surgery, eyelid lift Blepharoplasty, or Blepharoplasty lid lift truck, should also be performed after careful analysis of various necessary factors, such as the patient’s skin type, medical history, etc.

One may also opt for a Blepharoplasty combined with mid cheek lift, or for a facelift and eyelid surgery in a combined form. Such options enable the patient to achieve a greater makeover process, and get the ‘much younger’  look , by doing away with some of the most prominent and visible features of ageing.

There are many people who prefer to opt for an eyelid lift without surgery. Here the surgeon offers an Endoscopic brow lift for rejuvenating the eyes. Though eyelid lift without surgery is a much newer concept it is beginning to gain wide popularity and patients are safely opting for this method, after seeing its success rate.
However, just like all other medical treatments, even eye lift surgery consists of certain complications and risks. For example, though it is not necessary, it may so happen that the patient ends up having the problem of excessive tearing or may show extreme sensitivity towards light, especially bright light and direct sun rays. The few weeks, following the eyelift surgery, a patient may also experience a temporary change in his or her eyesight, which may include double vision, or constant blurring of the eyes. Doctors make a close note of such conditions, in order to determine the condition of one’s eyes.
Therefore it may be concluded that though Blepharoplasty is a blessing for those who wish to maintain the ‘forever young’ look, it is definitely not meant for those who are not ready to take much chances. Though the risks of the operation causing side effects, or rather major future problems is much rare, one has to be willing to be patient enough with the results. Also, since Blepharoplasty cannot cure all such features that develop with age, but only does away with the most prominent of the features, it is always advisable to make sure what the exact results of the surgery would be like, to avoid any disappointment.
