Face Lift

Face is the most prominent feature that reflects age of a person but certain factors like sun exposure, weight variations, hereditary, smoking and ageing state their combined effect on the face. This causes loosening of facial skin, wrinkles and development of crease and the sagging of muscles of the neck, forehead, etc. The plastic surgery procedure of facelift or rhytidectomy addresses these different consequences by firming and tightening the skin of the face and neck. The best results come out when the facelift procedure is combined with other facial plastic surgery events like upper and lower blepharoplasty that treat the area around the eyes. Further, the injections of various collagen fillers or botox injections are useful in treating prominent creases in the forehead and the grimace between the eyebrow areas.
The facelift procedure involves dividing the face into individual units and treating them separately or in combination with other areas. A complete facelift is a surgical renovation of four areas of the face that include the forehead and upper eyelids, the mid face and lower eyelids, the lower face and lips and the neck.
The forehead is bracketed together with the upper eyelids as generally the extra upper eyelid skin is due to brow being at a lower level. The wrinkles occurring on forehead can be temporarily treated with botox injections. However a permanent forehead lift is performed with an endoscope and results in negligible scars. The mid Face includes the area of the lower eyelids and the cheekbone to the level of the mouth corners. In the mid facelift procedure, the tissues are made to float to a specific point over the cheekbone, thus giving the cheeks a fuller and younger appearance. Generally, people opt for a forehead lift along with a mid face-lift. An alternative use for the mid face area is a thread face lift procedure. The thread lift is a facelift procedure that is less time-consuming and has a speedy recovery although the results last for few years.
The lower face-lift procedure can be efficiently treated by conventional facelift procedures. The lower facelift procedure gives an outline to the jaw line. If the procedure is done along with a neck lift, it gives amazing results. The lower facelift procedure leaves a scar in front of the ear but the scar is hidden by some techniques. A lip lift procedure is used to shorten the space above the upper lip.
After the facelift surgery is over, the patient is closely monitored for recovery. Generally a bandage is draped around your face so that you are carefully monitored. Certain facelift procedures require small tubes to be inserted under the skin to drain away any accumulated fluids but overall the discomfort is not beyond tolerance in the face-lift recovery.
The facelift surgery scars are characteristically pink in color in the initial months and then they become diminishing white scars. Moreover, the facelift scars are generally restricted to the hairline region in the natural creases of the skin.
Now days, a vitamin C Ester Amine Complex Face Lift lotions are available for an instant face lifting, toning and nurturing of the face skin. The vitamin C ester in this relevant formula makes the inhabitant antioxidants promptly available to your skin cells. The amino acids aid the skin to hold extra moisture, thus getting rid of surplus facial oil production. The NTP complex lifts the skin and makes the skin look toned and healthy.
A few facelift complications are accumulation of blood under the skin needing removal (hematoma), prolonged swelling, infection and reactions to anesthesia. An injury to basic structures can occur though it is temporary and at times facelift incisions might leave scars.
